![]() Frankly I thought it was overly generous to give that huge of a reward if done very well at the end but I’m not complaining. I think having long term goals placed ahead of us is a fun carrot to chase. This is an exciting concept to add to the game. (But don’t mind me I’m just being picky.) This skin seems too gimmicky and possibly out of character for my taste. The skin Space Tourist itself is amazing but I always thought she was a more serious character with her Lore description of her, Love for decapitation and not to mention those vampire teeth. My only gripe is in Valeria’s character appearances (Minor). I’m personally happy to see Aneska’s original look available for purchase. And the Same could be said for the remaining 3 new additions. ![]() He went from looking like a very friendly, highly experienced hunter, to looking like a brutal, no nonsense outlaw (Very well done). Rak Mayura’s Tribal Hunter skin for example, visually tells a completely different story when looking at him. ![]() The Character skins are Equally if not far greater in comparison. Frankly, IF MSE told me that every one will only get one Weapon skin, I’d be ok with it because the ones currently available are mostly all amazing and very well thought out, I love the designer’s imagination. Ok so, i'll start by saying I love the Idea of weapons having skins, the best one for me hands down is Iune’s Astral Plane weapon skin, that thing blew my mind. If the gameplay loop or combat mechanics were engaging, then I could overlook the visual and design faux pas that plague spacelords, unfortunately, this is not the case, and as a result, I cannot recommend Spacelords.I know I’m late but I just want to relay some feedback and Suggestions in regards to the Identity update, but since theirs allot to cover I’m just going to mention my thoughts on the major parts as well as some questions. I understand the developers wanting to try something different, but with both male and female characters being well endowed, it makes what should be an exciting sci-fi experience into a cringe-inducing one. Not really? Spacelords is genuinely odd despite combat being an essential element of gameplay, it feels rushed and unrewarding and could be easily assumed to be the by-product of a title where more developer attention was given to creating bizarrely sexualised player characters with overly defined glutes than actually creating a game that people want to play.īoth male and female player characters have very revealing/skin-tight outfits that go beyond sexy into the territory of entirely tasteless, especially when you take into account the nightmarish “Bleeding Edge” style aesthetic that makes all characters look like leftovers from a 1970s adult animation. In addition, many male and female characters wear sexually suggestive or revealing costumes, which may be offensive to some. Spacelords is rated PEGI 16 for Bad Language, Violence, and Online Game Play. Is There Group Finding/ Matchmaking Support? Is Cross-Platform Multiplayer Supported? Spacelords supports: While we don’t know exactly how many people are playing on console, the PC community is dead without crossplay being enabled, with an average ccu of just ten players for much of the day. Still, even if we are talking about a combined console community that is 10x the size of the PC player base, we are talking about very low numbers with off-peak lows of 50-75 and peak highs of 300-500 players online.ĥ Steam users are currently playing Spacelords (Updated May 18, 2023, 4:10 am) While Playstation and Xbox do not give players online statistics, it would be reasonable to assume Spacelords fairs a little better on console, with console communities generally fairing better than their PC counterpart. Spacelords’ one saving grace is full crossplay between Playstation, Xbox and PC, and while each of these platforms only has a small player base combined, it does allow matchmaking to perform “adequately” at peak times and “better than nothing” at off-peak times. Spacelords FAQ Are The Developers Active?Īs of August 2022, the developers have maintained near-complete radio silence since December 2021, and it’s possible that Spacelords will receive no further updates. Players have the ability to play any mission solo however, they are unable to level their character or learn new blueprints, making it an entirely fruitless endeavour for those who are looking for more than the ability to play the game and learn more about the world through pre-mission cutscenes and in-game dialogue. Spacelords is weirdly sexual to the point of being distracting, and I feel this aesthetic is largely responsible for its low player count and lack of wider community acceptance.
